About us

Founders: Emily & Matt

We've both been in hiring since 2001. By the time Covid hit, we were so disillusioned with the industry we were ready to walk away forever.

We took some time to reflect on what we're actually good at, and what kind of work we genuinely enjoy. Our inspiration for Cohort came from a project we worked on back in 2012 — one where our skills and values felt completely aligned with what the customer needed.

So we founded Cohort on those principles. Finally, it feels like we're building something that's truly us.
